An International and National Technical Seminar and International Instructor Course, were contacted in Paphos Cyprus, from the 29th to 31st of January 2016.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contactor was Senior Grand Master Professor Hwang Ho Yong, I.T.F.<\/a> s Senior Vice President and Chairman of the ITF Technical & Education Committee<\/strong>. SGM Hwang arrived to\n Cyprus on Thursday the 28th of January in the afternoon. On Friday \nmorning SGM Hwang with the company of Cyprus Taekwon-do Federation \nPresident Mr. Lefteris Polydorou<\/a> and Secretary General Mr. Marinos Stefanou<\/a>, had a courtesy meeting with the Major of Geroskypou Municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seminar started at 5:00pm<\/g> on Friday, 29th of January at International<\/g> school<\/g> in Paphos, with the first session of the International Instructor course. There were a total of 12 participants for the seminar<\/g>, four of them where<\/g> having the Course for the first time and the rest where<\/g> renewing or repeating the course. Two Senior Masters participated<\/g> the seminar (SM Brown<\/a> from UK<\/g> and SM Anastasiadis<\/g><\/a> from<\/g> Hellas) and Instructors from England, Wales, Jamaica, Hellas and Cyprus. The next day the International and National Technical Seminar started<\/g> with a total of approximately 50 Taekwon-do Instructors and practitioners<\/g> from Cyprus, Hellas, England, Jamaica and Wales, attending the<\/g> Seminar. Second<\/g> part of the International Instructor course continued after the technical seminar and finished late in the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the final day\n we continued with the technical part of the seminar and concluded the \nseminar on Sunday 31st, in the afternoon. On Monday 1st of February, SGM\n Hwang with Cyprus Taekwon-do Federation President and Technical & \nEducation Committee member, Mr. Lefteris Polydorou<\/a>, had a meeting with the General Director of the Cyprus Sports Organization, Mr. Filippos Sofokleous and the Chair person of the Sports Academy of Cyprus Sports Organization, Mr. Dimitris Araouzos.

SGM Hwang had the opportunity to inform them about the current situation in Taekwon-do and the discussions between ITF & WTF. Part of the event was<\/g> the side<\/g> seeing and the dinner on Saturday night at a traditional Cyprus Fish Restaurant with SGM and all participants at the Seminars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
